Las Vegas September 2004

Our second visit to this area, the first time we stayed at the Luxor Hotel which is most luxurious but is slightly at the end of the strip. This time we stayed at the Aladdin Hotel which is more central and worth upgrading to a room with a view of the Bellagio Fountains also the staff made us more welcome.  Dinning in the spice market is an experience the buffets are superb also the other restaurants in the hotel are excellent . The Dessert Passage was an enjoyable shopping area especially for the wife as a Thomas Kinkeade art gallery is located in there.

During our vacation we did a couple of trips  to the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam  unfortunately the trip to the canyon was a disappointment but that was due to the tour company but the Hoover Dam was most enjoyable .

Also went downtown to Fremont Street  which is the original Strip, one evening we dined at the Golden Nugget which is extremely good  and then strolled around the street and enjoyed the Light Show at the time there was a gathering of motorbikes. Most weekends there are special events .

As usual we took several photographs and you are welcome to view them.
