California and Las Vegas April 2004
This vacation was intended for Elaine's 60th birthday alas it did not work to plan . The first week we booked into the Georgian Hotel at Santa Monica which we would not recommend . To celebrate her celebration we booked a VIP trip to Universal Studio in advanced unfortunately the shuttle company made an error in the booking ! On return to the UK we have learnt the booking was made for the next day but would like to say a big thank you for Universal Studios for their concern into sorting the problem out and apologies that was received in writing we certainly will return in the future. Due to the mix up we flew earlier to Las Vegas and once more stayed at the Luxor and then as planned moved to the Aladdin hotel which made up for the earlier disaster .
